I am trying to customize a button CTA that would lead to the booking form; I already set up the corresponding categories and services on the Amelia backend.
I initially set up the booking cards as per the mockup design assuming that I can attach a hyperlink to the button which would lead to the booking form popup. Is there a way to this? I couldn't so I found the feature that Amelia offers to create CTA buttons "Amelia Booking View"
1. I am unable to view the relevant services associated with the category through the Elementor panel (See capture.png)
2. I am unable to find a way to customize the typography on the text (See capture.png)
3. Even whilst uploading the unfinished card associated with the information, the preview does not lead to the booking form! (See capture.png)
4. The booking cards are displayed as is (UI Mockup Attached)
Please refer me to the relevant steps that I am missing out on or if there could be a technical error.
Thank you for your purchase and apologies for the delayed response, we don't work on weekends and we had some non-working days due to a holiday in our country.
You need to either add the shortcode to a page and that button to lead to the page or add it as a popup - you need to add a popup to the button and then add Amelia shortcode in there. I see you have Elementor , so you need to create popups in Elementor first add Amelia shortcode to the popup, and add the popups to the buttons on that page. https://elementor.com/help/how-do-i-create-my-first-popup/
And this is how you make the shortcode for a popup and what you need to do in Elementor regarding Amelia:
There was some conflict between Amelia and the Elementor PopUp. We implemented some fix for this in version 2.9.1 of Amelia.
So we added a shortcode for the popup - it needs to have the ID of the button that is calling the popup, so this is how one of the shortcodes should look like in the Elementor pop-up:
[ameliabooking trigger=amelia-button-id]
so if the button ID is 1 it will be:
[ameliabooking trigger=1]
So, you create a PopUp and set this shortcode in the popup, you will see the option Load booking form manually when you create Amelia shortcode, where you need to provide the button's ID, please look at the attachment.
When you create a button on which the PopUp will be called you set it's Button ID (that you will provide in the shortcode above afterwards), and
You need to enable the "Prevent Closing on Overlay" option in the popup settings:
Regarding point 1 - Please note that you won't be able to see Amelia in the Elementor back-end editing mode - you need to preview the page and you will see the actual Amelia booking form on the front-end only.
