    Hello there, I have a question for you!

    We have a membership site and want to be able to offer our members a fixed discount of 20% on their bookings. The members have accounts and are logged in.

    What we want is a way to apply a generic (same for all) percentage discount for all members, visibly applied at "checkout", adjacent to the current discount field. 

    What would your suggestion be to best way achieve this? 

    Based on the options out of the "Amelia box" we have contemplated the following possibilities but, scrapped them for the reasons in the parenthesis:

    1. To use Amelias discount code field and supply all members with a generic discount code (That would of course spread to non-members).

    2. Create a special service reserved for members (clunky, possibly confusing and unnecessary extra work).

    Hello Bjorn, 

    Apologies for the delayed response, we don't work on weekends and we had some non-working days due to a holiday in our country.

    There isn't a possibility to achieve that in Amelia , unfortunately, without some work-around maybe, as there isn't a way of dividing customers (memberships) in Amelia. 

    I assume your suggestion 2. would work , so creating a separate service for the members - and creating different booking forms (with different services) for members and non-members. You can use point 1. but then as you mentioned, you can't restrict some customers (non-members) of not using the coupon code.

    I am trying to write a new ticket (about something that I cant find about the Ameila plugin) . But I cant find the purchase code anywhere. Not on the receipts and not on my account.

    Why are you making it  so unseemly difficult?

    Two questions:

    Where is the change log for Amelia? It's difficult to find. Please add a link to the popup on the plugins page (where you click update on a site) so we can check what's updated without leaving the site..

    Why do I need to find the  purchase code when I am logged in to my account and you already know I have an active account. Such a waste of (my) time. Why?

    Hello Bjorn.

    Your purchase code has been emailed to you when you purchased the plugin. Also, you can always log into our store with the credentials that are in the same email where your purchase code is, and see the purchase code in there. If you can't find the email, you can click on "Reset Password" and reset the password for accessing the store.

    The change log can be accessed through our documentation website, specifically here: https://wpamelia.com/changelog/

    This ticketing platform is not ours, we're just using it, so why you need to add your purchase code for validation, instead of saving it to your account on this platform is a question we don't have an answer to. For this, you would need to reach out to Ticksy's support and ask them to make this the default behavior of user accounts. We already forwarded that request a few times, and we'll do so again, but it's always good to see users request that from time to time, so they see this is a required feature.

    If you're referring to Ticksy's support, they are cool guys, want to help always. I'm not sure if they'll be able to add this feature soon, but if they can, they will.
