Global Search is the search field that looks through the entire table. It's referred to as a global search because it's looking through all columns in the table, opposed to a "text" filter, which acts as a search field, but only for specific columns.
So, there's no way to search through multiple tables. One global search will look only through the table it's related to.
Is there a way to search multiple tables? I keep seeing "global search" mentioned but can't seem to find info on it.
