Update issues in theme references Amelia

Hi, my workscout theme keeps failing to update and constantly pushes out this message. Any thoughts?

"Update failed: To receive automatic updates license activation is required. Please visit settings to activate Amelia."

My Amelis is activated so I don't know what this is in reference to.

I have this problem also with several websites.
When I visit Amelia settings, it shows key and activated, all good.
When I try to update, it keeps giving that error.

I have already dozens of times to deactivate, reset and re-activate but nothing changes.
Support gave me an option to check the database, table wp_options and search for "purchasecode" and check if there are no spaces or wrong characters in there.
Done that 3x, no change at all.

The only possible way for me to update is manually downloading the zip file and re-upload each and every time.
I suspect there must be something going on with Amelia update system, maybe some filter that is running and doesn't detect that the license key or domain is valid while it is 100% correct on website end.

    Hi, Kipp!

    Thank you for choosing Amelia.

Please provide us a temporary WP admin login, so we can take a look from the inside and investigate what went wrong.

You can post your credentials as a PRIVATE reply to this ticket, so no one else will see them.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hi, Fabio!

    Thank you for your comment.

Unfortunately, the issue you faced is different, so your solution cannot be applied in Kipp's case.

What we advised in December has been fixed with the latest update. If the issue occurs again when we release our next update, please open a new private ticket, with wp-admin and FTP credentials, so our developers can debug the plugin and see what's going on.

We would be glad to answer any other questions you may have.

If you are using the envato pluggin to update your theme go back and reset it/update it. That solved my issue. It wasn't obvious but I had the same situation of Amelia looking fine and an error telling me to activate. Turns out the Envato theme updater was the middleman and the issue.

I'm not using Envato on my end. But I can confirm with the latest version the problem seems to be fixed. I had the problem with version 2.9.x something trying to update to 3.x that was always broken.
