Hello. Plugin looks great... I have a few pre-sale questions that will clinch the deal:
1) Is it possible to have both 1 hour slots and half day slots available for appointments on the same days...? And when a half day slot is booked the 1 hour slots are automatically no longer available?
2) We have to check customers' documents before we take payment and confirm their booking. Is it possible for the customer to upload files (documents, images) on the customer booking form?
3) Is it possible to take an enquiry (without payment) and receive an email (with above files attached), check the documents provided are OK, then if approved send back an email with option for payment in this email?
4) Once a returning customer has been approved, is it possible they can book and pay directly, without above approval step?
Hope that's clear! Thanks in advance for your help :)
1) You can have both 1 hour slots, and half hour slots available at the same time. Since within 1 service you can only have one duration time set (1hr or 30min), you can create two services separately (one will last 1hr, one 30min). In case one of these is booked, the other one will remain available.
2) Yes, customers can add files during booking. You can set this up trough Amelia > Customize > Custom Field > Add Custom Field > Attachment. Make sure to check the Required box, that will make providing a document during booking mandatory.
3) Amelia does not have a direct method for this, however, there is a workaround: You can go to Amelia > Settings > General Settings, and set Default Appointment status to Pending. In this way, the client will have to wait for your, or your employee's "approval" of their booking (thus giving you time to check the documentation.
*Improvement: Implemented option for employees to see and download attachments from front-end employees panel ? (customer documentation?) 3.0.2?
Still, this would require payments being set to be made "on site" (upon arrival of your client to their appointment). If you enable online payment methods, as soon as the client completes the booking window (uploads the document, chooses the date and time), they will be charged. The only way to postpone charging for the appointments before approving them, is to have only on site payments enabled.
4) Unfortunately, this is not possible within Amelia; client needs to reenter their information every time they book (name, email, etc.)
