Thank you for your understanding, and we wish you a wonderful holiday weekend!
I need to make a website for a tour and visit company with bookings. I have done tests with your plugin and I see 2 options to do this, but none of them 100%.
The main idea is that each visit has a calendar from which to select date and time (1 or 2 visits per date).
If I could solve any of those two ways, perfect, I use the Amelia plugin. Thank you very much!
Hi Rodrigo,
Thank you for reaching out.
If the second one is more suitable for you, feel free to go along with it - please contact back if you require further assistance!
I will give you a better example, because I don't quite understand the employee sample in my case.
I have to set up a "Free tour" event every Friday from 17:30 to 19h, Saturdays from 12:30 to 14h and from 17:30 to 19h, and Sundays from 12:30 to 14h. Can you tell me, if I can do it with Amelia, how to do it?
The user will have to choose a date, for example, Saturday, February 13, and a time, from 12:30 to 14h.
Thank you for the example!
We will then have 4 separate weekly events (if you plan for these tours to repeat every week). Here is a "step by step" to make the process easier:
- Go to create a New Event
- Choose a date (let's say Friday this week), click it twice, so that this event will be limited to Friday only
- Set the time from 17:30 to 19h
Next, check the box This is recurring event, and mark it as Weekly (again, if you want these tours to repeat automatically every week, on same days, at the same time). The only thing that you do need to determine now, is until when they will repeat. Seeing as we don't have "indefinitely" as an option currently, you can go to 2022 in the calendar, or further, to make it more convenient for yourself (so that you don't have to worry about it anytime soon).
Set available spots (how many people can book the tour), and other things like tour location, and such.
If you do this for Saturday 12:30 to 14h, Saturday 17:30 to 19h, and Sunday for 12:14h, as four separate events, people will be able to choose times and days that suit them the most, and you would not be obligated to re-setup anything; these events would repeat on their own.
Also, when you leave the price in the event $0, it will be set on the user frontend to Free (if you plan on these tours being free).
And here is an example how it would look like on the frontend:
I hope that you will find this information helpful!
