We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi guys, my Editor role users need to be able to use the back-end menu. I already use User Role Editor. Manage_options has some unintended consequences that are deal breakers.
Hi Aaron
Thank you for reaching out to us.
Currently only administrator roles have access to editing and managing the tables in the back-end. If the table is set to be editable on the front-end you can set the Editor role to have access to editing on the front-end but they still won't be able to access it from the back-end.
If you would like to see this feature implemented in some of our future releases please leave your suggestion on the link below and our developers will take it into consideration
Feature Suggestion
Please don't hesitate to contact us if there is anything else we can assist you with.
Yeah this make the product pretty unusable. I'd highly recommend you guys get your role control figured out. Thank you.
Hi Aaron
We are really sorry to hear this. Our developers are always trying to find new ways to improve our products.
Please take the time to leave your suggestion.
If there is anything else we can assist you with please don't hesitate to contact us.
We left a feature suggestion and we'll wait to hear back if you can add the functionality so we do not have to request a refund. Thank you.
Hi Aaron
Please note that the feature suggestion is a subject to voting and the more people suggest the same thing the higher are the chances for it to be developed. We have not received suggestions like this before so we cannot say that this will developed in the near future.
If you wish to request a refund please log into http://store.tms-plugins.com/ with the credentials you received in your e-mail when you purchased the plugin, then navigate to Purchases/wpDataTables, and if you're still within 15 days from purchase you will see the "Request Refund" button.
If you don't see it, and you're using a screen with width lower than 1600px, you will need to scroll through that screen horizontally to see the button.
After you submit a refund request, you will not receive any confirmation emails, but you will see that the button is grayed out:
That means that the refund request is successfully submitted, and that you will receive your refund in 5 - 7 business days.
Hi Blaženka,
It just seems like a very common use case to have non-admins use the back-end for table creation. It makes us wonder if there is anything else that has been overlooked. Thanks for the info. I'm happy to say that the support seems to be pretty good.
You are most welcome. I wish I could be more helpful.
If there is anything else we can assist you with please do let us know.
