We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
I need to send an email automatically after the purchase for the customers with the password and login accesses. How do i do that?
Hello Gabriel,
Thank you for your purchase.
There isn't a possibility of sending customers an email with login information, unfortunately, they need to setup a password for themselves when they access the panel for the first time. You need to add a placeholder for the customer panel URL to the email notification customers get when they book an appointment in Amelia (the approved appointment email) so customers can access the Customer panel via this link, and when they access it the first time they will be asked to create a password for them and later on they use that email/password to login to the Panel .
You are adding the customer panel link by adding a placeholder for it %customer_panel_url% to the email Message field and you will find this placeholder in the Placeholders list. So when you go to Amelia -> Notifications, click on the </> Show Email Placeholders, when you find this placeholder click on it, it will be copied and then paste it to the notifications that you want.
If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
When I sent test email to click on link to go to customer panel I am getting an error that the link cannot be opened. I did just as instructed by adding Email placeholder %customer_panel_url% to customer panel notification setting. See error in attachment.
Hello Devani,
Apologies for replying a bit later, we don't work on weekends.
The test email option is there for you to test whether the email notifications are working or not, if they are sent or not. For testing appointments' information in the notifications and the placeholders, you need to use real test bookings in order to have real/true information in the notifications. So you need to book a real appointment in order to test the customer panel and the placeholders in the notifications. Also, please check if you have set everything per our instructions for the panel https://wpamelia.com/front-end-customer-panel/
For any further questions or issues please open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
Thank you very much.
You are welcome, Devani.
If you have any other questions or concerns about the plugin, feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
