We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
I want to integrate some of Amlia´s features, like appointment booking with calendar into another plugin (WP User Frontend). Please be aware that the employee registration should go through WP User Plugin, not through Amelia.
Please let me know if there are ways to integrate features from Amelia without registration. Can it be done through retrieving the sql database of the WP User Plugin from Amelia Plugin?
I am looking forward to your reply.
Best regards,
Julia
Hi, Julia!
Thank you for your inquiry.
Unfortunately, it's not possible with the built-in Amelia features.
It probably can be done with some custom work, but our developers are very busy at the moment, so they won't be having the time for custom work in the near future.
But we can recommend these services for customization:
https://codeable.io/?ref=l1TW1
https://wpkraken.io/?tms-plugins
They do develop such solutions, so please contact them.
We would be glad to answer any other questions you may have.
Hi Lisa,
thank you for your reply.
Do you have some documentation for my developer for custom work? The changes on Amelia must be done primarily on the way how the profiles of employees are displayed: at the moment the user can see the services first and after the click, the profiles of employees, however it is more convenient to see the Profiles of the Employees on the first place.
How do I make sure, that custom work will not be overwritten by the update? How do I safely update the Plugin after custom work?
Is there are some further very important info to know before starting custom work with Amelia?
I will be very appreciate your reply.
Best regards,
Julia
Hi, Julia!
Sorry for the delayed response, we fell behind our normal speed due to a National holiday.
Amelia isn't an open-source plugin, so we won't be able to share sourcecode with your developers due to our company's policy.
You are right, the custom work can be overwritten by the update, but that's why we recommended you the services I mentioned below: these developer teams have experience of working with Amelia, they know what are the possibilities for customization, if the required features can be implemented or not, etc. Also, I believe, if they do custom work, they can fix any issues that might occur after an update.
Also, regarding the Employees' profiles being shown first: you can still create a page with employees' profiles and, for example, add buttons that will be opening Amelia's booking form with the Services of a particular Employee.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
