We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Dear customer service,

I was wondering, is it possible to switch Amelia booking system to another website?

    Hi, Kuanysh!

    Thank you for choosing Amelia.

I'm afraid I didn't get your question 100%. Could you please clarify if you mean to migrate all the settings to another site or something else?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Hello Liza,

    Thank you for your response.

Yes, you got it right. We decided to split the business website into two separate projects. Therefore, I was wondering if it is possible to migrate the entire booking system to another site. I do not worry about the setting much, but more about the paid subscription. Hope you got the question right. Cheers.

    Kuanysh,

You're welcome, glad to be of service.

    Thank you for the clarification.

If you want to switch Amelia license to another domain, you should log in to our store, and delete the old domain, in the Manage domains section, and then you will be able to activate your purchase code on your new domain in Amelia -> Settings -> Activation.

If you want to migrate the data from your previous site to the new one as well, we can provide you with a guide on how to do it by using the Duplicator plugin.

    Best Regards.

    Sounds awesome.

That would be great to migrate the data as well.

    Thanks.

    Hi, Kuanysh!

Ok, there are basically two options:

    1. If you are moving the whole website to another domain, we can suggest using the Duplicator Plugin. We use it and it's working fine because it will transfer all the files and also the tables to the database.

    2. If you need to export only Amelia settings and data, you can install Amelia on the new website, and then copy the data from your old database there. You would need to copy data from all of the amelia tables, and the data from the amelia_settings option that is saved in your wp_options table ( it can have another prefix rather than wp_ depending on your database). Please note that this should be done only if you know working with databases!

We would be glad to answer any other questions you may have.
