We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Hello,

I am looking for a WordPress booking module with a specific functionality.

I do not know if your WordPress module offers this functionality.

I will explain it to you to know if you offer this functionality or your module is modular enough to allow me to add this functionality.

The available time slots need to change dynamically according to the professional’s travel time.

Indeed, in my situation, it’s not client who come to the professional but the professional who comes to the client. It must therefore take into account the travel time of the professional to the customer. The next available time slot displayed must therefore take into account the travel time of the professional between the address of client A and client B.

The visitor must indicate his address before being able to reserve a slot. Depending on the address listed, the available slot dates change taking into account the travel time between the previous customer’s address and the current customer’s address.

    Here is an example:

A Client1 living at the address A reserves a time slot from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.

A Client2 living at the address B wishes to reserve a time slot. The reservation module will have to calculate the duration of the car route between the address A and the address B to indicate the fastest time slot. Assuming that it takes 30 minutes for a car to go from address A to address B, then the closest available time slot displayed to the Client2 should be 10:30 am. Then, the Client2 reserves the time slot from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.

A client3 living at the address C wishes to reserve a time slot. The travel car time between address B to address C is 45 minutes. The closest availability indicated in the booking will therefore be 12:15 p.m (assuming there is no lucnch break, otherwise if there is a break from 12:00 to 13:00, the nearest availability indicated should be 13:45).

Does your module allow me to set this up ?

    Thank you in advance,

    Regards.

    Hi Naoki,

Thanks so much for your interest in Amelia.

Unfortunately, we do not have an option to automatically calculate travel time, this is not possible to be done with the plugin.

The only possibility is to set a buffer time after the appointment but this is a predefined time you can set in advance.
