In large tables, when you have e.g. columns with data for Towns and People then when customer filters by specific Town then he expects to see people also filtered by that Town.
However, now filters are independent of each other. This makes a big trouble because you cannot do multiple layer filtering.
Example is that i have 10 towns with 300 people that linked to 50k records so it is impossible for me to filter by town x then see all people relevant to that town automatically and then view relevant data about those people.
This is very significant issue for me as we going to have 500k records of data about people in 2 weeks time.
I see what you saying but I have a prove that it already works between selectbox (Cadence) and multiselect box (Towns). Candence has time ranges 2015-2019 etc in my case.
Why does it work without powerful filters and how to replicate same as above?
What you've shown me doesn't actually filter the second filter. As far as I can see, all possible values are displayed in the drop-down, so even those that don't exist in (2007 - 2011) can be selected, resulting in "No match" message in the table.
If you want to limit filter 2 (Towns) to only show rows where (2007 - 2011) exists in the first filter, you will need Powerful Filters because cascade filtering is only available through that add-on, and it can't be replicated without it.

Could you please add it for roadmap?
Hello Alex
What you're looking for is Cascade Filtering, so filter #2 is dependent on the data selected in filter #1, correct?
That feature is available in our paid add-on Powerful Filters, which (along this) allows you to hide the table before filtering is applied.
Kind Regards,
