    I have an issue:

    Two students just managed to book a service to the same day and time. I have automatic confirmations of requests deactivated and in Appointments "Allow above booking max capacity" activated, which is probably the reason why this is technically possible. I change the last setting, so that this won't happen again in future.

    However, in my Calender this slot became now a "Group Event" with 2 people attending. How can I now reschedule one of this customers? I informed already one client and told him in my system went something wrong and I got overbooked, but still I cannot reschedule this appointment in the Amelia Appointment/Calendar settings. I can only set theit Status of each Customer from Approved to Pending and vv. But I cannot switch one of them to another day/time.

    Sorry for the delayed response, we don't work on weekends.

    And thank you for choosing Amelia!

    Unfortunately, Amelia has no built-in option to reschedule the Appointment for one of the attendees. You can simply delete this attendee and schedule another time slot for him/her.

    Sorry for the inconvenience. This feature is on our to-do list for future updates.  However, you can speed the process up by submitting a request on our website.

    Ok deleting worked, scheduling a new appointment not, because of the reasons I describe in this new thread:

    I blocked this day for other clients in my "Days off" settings, but in this particular case of manual scheduling it should be possible for me to set an appointment on this day...

    So I went back to the employee settings and deleted the "Day off" for this certain day, but still I cannot schedule anything new on this day. Nothing works!


    Please help me out, this is something I need constantly...

    Yes, unfortunately, you cannot reschedule appointments using Days off.

    I would recommend you to use Special days to keep some time unavailable for booking or create a service that will be accessible only for you.
