I am on a 14 day trial. I like Amelia very much and so far I can get it do most of what I want. I need to work one thing out though.
I want to use Amelia to sell online coached courses. The courses will be 10 weeks long running at the same time each week for 90 minutes. So a student comes in sees a course that there is a course that start on Monday 2nd March at 8:30am running for 10 weeks. Another course that starts on Thursday 4th March at 8:30am. he chooses the second one as its more convenient. All ten sessions can be uploaded into his calendar with zoom links included. So what I did was create two recurring events. All good. However on the event view it shows all the 10 weeks in the view which I think is confusing as its not clear that you can only book from the first session. I would like to be able to show just the first sessions from each event so that's clear you need to book the course starting on the 2nd or the course starting on the 4th yet when you book all 10 sessions are uploaded. Is there a button somewhere to do this? I have included a link to the test page Thanks in advance. David
Thank you for your purchase and apologies for replying a bit later, we don't work on weekends.
Glad to see you like Amelia !
If you create a recurring event in Amelia each event created is a separate event, and when the customer books the first they will book only that one , not the other ones. The recurring events are counted as separate events in Amelia and can't be booked at once, unfortunately. You would need to create one event with more date/time periods to have this bookable as one event, but I am not sure how that will work with Zoom - as one event has one meeting in Zoom.
You can check out the recurring appointments https://wpamelia.com/recurring-appointments/ if that could be maybe more suitable for your use case, as the recurring appointments can be booked at once in Amelia. Their availability is configured by the employees' work hours.
