I have installed and activated the product, but when I try and create a table - both by importing from Excel or Creating it manually - the "Create the table" button does nothing when pressed.
To clarify, the button itself does nothing when pressed. It is the same if I try something simple, like "Create a Data Table Manually" as you can see from the attached screenshot. The button on the bottom right does nothing when clicked, nothing pops up, also the dropdown on the left marked "Type" does not expand when clicked.
Is there a conflict with Elementor? or perhaps some weird JS incompatibility?
Seems like you have a conflict with Bootstrap.js files from another plugin.
Can you go to wpDataTables settings, and disable "Include full bootstrap back-end" slider? If that doesn't work, please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party.
You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
I went into ../wp-content/plugins/wpdatatables/source/class.wdttools.php file and commented line 1515, while also disabling the back-end Bootstrap option in wpDataTables settings:
Please save my response, because the change will revert when the plugin updates, so you'll probably need to do it again.
A new version has been released yesterday, but it has a bug, so keep an eye on v3.4.1 which should be released today or tomorrow. After you update it, go into that file via FTP and comment that line again, and the issue will be resolved.

fyi I have tried it in Firefox & Chrome, with the same results.
