We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
My website is currently under construction but I have a bit of an issue with mail notifications for my appointments : i dont receive any mail when the appointment is created.
To test it, use my own mail as employee and as customer and I dont receive any mail of any sort at the creation.
By default my appointments status is "approved", but i have also checked with "pending" status and the result is the same.
I double checked my notification settings and they seem ok :
So i'm guessing the problem is that when the appointment being created the mail function do not trigger...
Maybe there's an option I forgot somewhere ... ? Any suggestion ?
Thanks in advance
I'm literally going through the same exact thing I even deleted Amelia completely and made a fresh one thinking it was me but notifications literally work when they want
In my case it's not when they want. It's litteraly never.
Anyway, i've noticed an error 500 in the console when i book a new appointment on this file : wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=wpamelia_api&call=/bookings/success/12&nocache=1611854563478
The response being
Slim Application Error
The application could not run because of the following error:
Details
Type: Error
Message: Class 'Eluceo\iCal\ParameterBag' not found
File: /wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/vendor/eluceo/ical/src/Eluceo/iCal/Property.php
Line: 53
I am yet to get this error however , notification triggers are very slow at this moment in time and is causing my client's all sorts of problems. How long has this been happening to you
I just installed this plugin today, so i don't have a great insight.
But i didn't notice a big latency on the other notifications. For instance, if i change the status of an apointment, the mail is sent imediately.
I noticed that when you change status notifications fly through other than that it is a huge delay
Problem solved by re-uploading the plugin.
I guess one of the files must have been corrupted during the first upload.
Hello David
Sorry for the late response.
I'm glad to hear the issue has been resolved. I share your doubt, that something happened during the first installation.
Michael, like David said, notifications should be sent instantly when you book an appointment, or change the status. If that's not working correctly for you, please first check your SPAM folder, and if the emails aren't there either, please open a new private ticket, where you'll provide us with log-in credentials, so we can test this, and see what's going on.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
