Hi, I really am looking for some help and advise before I make a purchase. A friend of mine has shown me a demo and I really like Amelia and I think it will work for our future site. We are shopping around for a Wordpress "event" plugin. I have done a demo with a friend in his site and think most of it will work. But there are a few things we cannot get going with.
These are some of the critical asks. Please help.
1> I need to add more fields while creating Events, not when people book the events, but when we setup the Event. I cannot add these to the "About The Event" as these need to be there n the front layout. For example:
* Time Zone, Instructor Names, More Custom Fields.
See attached. I know it cannot be done via the front-end. But Is it possible via back-end, where I can get a developer to do this. I need 2-4 fields.
2> Is there a way we can make use of this white space - via code customization? See attached.
3> If We have 30 events, and we just want to show 10 at a glance. And then implement a Scrollbar or Page Numbering to move to the next set of 10 events. Is this a possible customization via front-end or back-end code changes?
4> Any way to sort or filter the events, but say any of the source fields? Note that I am using this show show each of the courses in each course page - [ameliaevents tag='scrummaster']. So I will not be able to use Tags to filter, since I do not show all the events in one page.
5> Is there a trial period once I make a purchase? In case it doesn't work for me?
1. The only option to add more info for the Event is to add it in the description below that tag selection on your screenshot.
2.
Unfortunately no, maybe you can just use some CSS to narrow that space, but from the plugin itself it is not possible.
3.
At the moment, this can be changed in the database, but all other configuration later can erase this. We will definitely consider adding this option for the future updates.
4.
Sorry but I did not quite understand this. Can you please explain me more?
5.
We do have 15 days money-back guarantee, so you can use that period to test the plugin out.

Thanks Bodgan. Unfortunately, #1 is a show stopper for us.
I hope Amelia adds some of these feature in the near future.
Hi Soumya,
I understand you completely.
Have a great day and stay safe!
