We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi. I have created a big event and 250 people signed up to it. On review of my email logs, I realized that Amelia is sending the employee a new email for every single attendee sign up. Why do you think an employee needs 250 emails about the SAME event?
In addition, as I had activated SMS messages for customers and employees, the employee received a new SMS message for every single sign up. Really? Would you like to receive 250 SMS messages about the same event ?
Hi Marc,
Both email and SMS notifications are sent to the employee added to the event when someone books the event, the event booked notification. These notifications are configured on the Amelia -> Notifications page, so if you don't need this you should just un-check the notification you don't want to be sent there. There is an option for you to enable/disable each notification on the Amelia -> Notifications page, for both customers and employees separately, so if you don't need some of the notifications just uncheck them there and they won' be sent to employee/customer. There are users who need these notifications, so this is why this is optional, so you can choose the notification that will be sent out to customer/employee.
If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
Hi Marija
Yes, there are those extreme options in Amelia where you have to choose if the employee receives 250 emails per event (actually an email for every single sign up, even if 1000 people have signed up), or be completely uninformed.
Here is a suggestion to improve Amelia: Let employees decide.... for example, employees could choose to receive one single summary email per day about all sign ups to events.
Hi Marc,
Thank you for your suggestion. I will add it to our feature requests list, so we can add votes for it if users request this so it can be considered for implementation in the future.
