We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Are there any known performance degradation issues when there are 10's of thousands of bookings in the database?
Any idea how much disk space would be required by the database when growing to say 10,000 bookings?
Finally, is there a safe way to purge old appointment and customer data from the database in order to maintain the database over time? Are there any backend scripts available that could be run?

Amelia has been used for Covid-19 testing in the past month, and we faced a lot of issues with people who have over 1.000 appointments during the day. If you need this many appointments, I can send you a new version of the plugin, which will be released in a couple of weeks.
The database itself can grow significantly, but 10's of thousands of appointments should not cause many issues with this fix. Clearing old appointments can be done from the plugin, manually, but it can also be done from the database. We'll add an option to delete appointments after a certain time period has passed, but at the moment they need to be cleared manually.
