While I used Amelia last year without any issue, I now have a couple problems:

First, no emails are being sent out to confirm or appointments or cancellations or anything else. Emails are not being sent to employee to notify them of appointments.
Text messages are going out without incident.

Second, appointments are not being sent to my google calendar.

As far as I can tell all the settings are correct. I've gone through the program with a fine toothed comb and cannot find any problems. The email smtp is correct. The google sign ins are correct.

    I can't figure it out.

    Hello LayLa,

Could you please tell me have you changed maybe anything on your website? Have you added some plugin or security or changed domain before this stopped working in Amelia?

Please try creating a new test employee and connecting it to a Google calendar and see if this would work?

For the Google reCaptcha please send me the URL of the page where you have Amelia so I could check it out.

    This is getting really frustrating.

I added a test employee and it worked. So I duplicated myself and was able to connect with google. However, in this case the calendar it was talking to talked back and ended up reducing my availability in Amelia. This pointed out to me that it was not the google account I wanted it to talk to.

So I logged out of that google account and logged in to the correct calendar. This time Amelia told me when I had an appointment scheduled, but when I went on my calendar and put in a test appointment it did not talk back to Amelia.

In all of this not a single email was sent out to the appointments being set up. We don't have any known changes and Amelia is up to date. I really need to resolve these issues.

    Hello LayLa,

When you create an event in your Google calendar , it won't appear in Amelia, only the time slots of these events in Google (that has status Busy) can be blocked for booking in Amelia. If they aren't, please check if  you enabled the option Remove Google Calendar Busy Slots  in Amelia -> Settings -> Integrations -> Google Calendar Settings. Also, if you have some bigger number of Busy events in Google please increase the number for the option Maximum Number Of Events Returned:  , which you will find in Google Calendar Settings as well.

Regarding email notifications - Since you use SMTP it can be used with Gmail like we provided an example for or any other mail service provider, but you need to have a configuration they need for that. Please try both of the SMTP Port/Secure options that we have in our instructions 465 with SSL or 587 with TLS.

Sometimes using SMTP for some providers like Gmail or similar is not supported by the hosting/server. So you need to check this out with your hosting , if SMTP is allowed and if yes what configuration is needed for SMTP sending emails on your server.

If you have some other plugin for this purpose, sending emails/ SMTP, on your website, then you need to choose WP Mail as a Mail service in Amelia and it will use that other plugin's configuration for sending emails.

I am checking with my web host.

What about the recaptcha ? I selected it but nothing shows up on my Amelia? I sent you the link.

    Hello LayLa,

Could you please tell me do you have reCaptcha enabled somewhere else on your website? MAybe another plugin? If yes, could you please deactivate it there and check if it shows up in Amelia? It can be that they are conflicting. As I can see on your page there is some reCaptcha in the network log, and no errors in connection to it. If this doesn't help, please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
