    Hello,

My client and I are very interested in buying your plugin . Before so we have several questions:

1/Do we have the possibility to display the events to come on a widget sidebar. If so can we see an exemple and test test it. On this website https://www.parenthousiasme.fr/groupes-ateliers-parents/ we found out that they were using your plugin and we liked the fact that it was on a sidebar.

2/ On the front end , we would like to add more details about the events when we land on the event panel without the client having to click on the event tab to get more information. The idea is to put more clarifications because each of our event will be made of four sessions/days and it is very important for the client to get the idea of the sessions essential details  otherwise it can be very messy to have 4 dates and timeslots without more info.

    see screenshot amelia-events-detailed-schedule.png

3/ Can we set multiples tickets by event? How can we test this?

4/Also we want to make sure that the number of spaces should be updated according to the tickets that have been booked. For exemple we want to put the attendees limit number up to 6 spaces and sell two types of tickets. if attendees book 3 tickets n°1 and 3 others tickets n°2 would the number of spaces will be displayed as full without any possibility to book furthermore.

If so how can we test this?

5/ I have noted that there are appointment next day reminder notifications, do we have the possibilty to set a time and date for this. How do we configure notification emails for reminder.

6/ Can the attendee cancel his booking? How does this work. If he cancels would the event spaces be updated accordingly?

7/ Can the plugin be fully translated in french?

8/ I can see that there is the possibility to add custom fields which is great. In our case we would like to add an additional line about the consent of the terms and conditions with a checkbox required in order to be gdpr compliant. I have tested the custom fields but how can we add a checkbox with a sentence and a link?

    Hi, Marion!

Thank you for your interest in Amelia.

1/ Yes, if you use a theme that has a sidebar you can place Amelia shortcodes there and the Booking forms will be displayed on the sidebar.

2/ Yes, that can be achieved with some custom CSS.

3/ Unfortunately, we don't have the option to create different ticket types at the moment. We will certainly work on this in the future but I cannot say for sure when that will happen. For now, the only way is to set the maximum number of attendees.

4/ As I mentioned before, creating tickets isn’t possible in Amelia.

5/ You can set the time when the reminder will be sent, in the upper right corner above the reminder notification. The date will always be one day before the event and cannot be changed.

6/  You can add the %event_cancel_url% placeholder in the Notification emails, so they can click on it and cancel their appointment. Another way would be through the Customer Panel if you have it enabled. Yes, this Appointment will get “Cancelled” status automatically.

7/  Amelia is translated into French but not 100% due to our latest updates. You can easily modify the translation using POEDIT or Loco Translate. We will provide you with a step-by-step guide.

8/ To add a link to Terms & Conditions, you need to add the "Text Content" custom field, like this:

    7276954973.png

Then, you need to add a mandatory checkbox custom field, where they have to agree with the terms and conditions when they book:

    I hope that helps.

If you have further questions, we will be happy to answer them as well.

    Hello Liza,

Thank you so much for your replies.

Your plugin seems to be the perfect one for our needs, but we are just frustrated about the fact that we cannot set multiples tickets to an event.

In the features, I saw that there is woocommerce integration. Isn't it to set tickets?

  • [deleted] replied

    Hi again, Marion!

Sorry for the delayed reply, we don't work on weekends.

We highly appreciate your words, thank you.

Unfortunately, there's no workaround to set tickets for now.

If you have other questions, please let us know.

Ok Liza. Just to be sure on this link: https://codecanyon.net/item/amelia-enterpriselevel-appointment-booking-wordpress-plugin/22067497 you are mentioning the following:

    • Stripe payment system becomes more and more popular worldwide. Amelia has built-in support for this system as well – and as everything else, configuration just takes a minute. Stripe allows demo mode before switching to production mode.
    • Woocommerce integration

What does that mean? I am confused.

  • [deleted] replied

    Hello, Marion!

Ok, sure, let me clarify itsmile.png

WooCommerce is integrated with Amelia only as a payment option.

When WooCommerce integration is enabled, no other payment options can be enabled in Amelia (Stripe, PayPal, or On-Site). If you have integration add-ons for Stripe, PayPal, or any other method in WooCommerce, you can use them through it. When an appointment is booked in Amelia, it's info is forwarded to WooCommerce, and from the Cart page onwards, everything is handled by WooCommerce.

You can't sell tickets with Amelia, because it doesn't work like that, but the info of the appointment and/or event is passed to WooCommerce for paying for the provided service. How that payment is going to be handled depends on the WooCommerce settings and add-ons you have for it.

    Best Regards.

    Hello Liza

Thanks a lot for your replies that did help me testing on my end  :D

I have additional questions as I have been testing the demo account with the plugin. My client is very interested in getting it but I have few more questions to reassure my client.

1/ You mentionned that we can add extra information about the event with custom css, without having to click on the event tab. Where can I test this in the demo account please? Also would this be achievable in the widget sidebar format? (please see amelia event detailes schedule.png screenshot)

2/Do you have any user cases or exemples of websites with the events widget sidebar please? We are very keen on see how it looks, because  at the moment we cannot set the widget sidebar with the demo account.

3/ Do we have the possibility to change the date format so it takes less space , see screenshot dateformat.png

4/Can we remove or replace "free" on the event

5/I understand that it's possible to translate the plugin in french. You mentioned that latest updates might not be translatable. Could you precise what are these latest updates please.

6/ As an administrator , when a customer cancel his attendance to an event , I didn't receive any   notification in my email inbox about his attendance or cancelation. I did fill out the sender email though. Do you know the solution please?

7/When we customize the booking form with radio boxes and options as being required by the attendee, when the attendee/administrator receive an email notification about the booking event do we we get the information about the choice that has been done between the options of the radio boxes.

8/ Last and not least, is your plugin gdpr compliant.

    Hello there, no reply :-/

    Hello, Marion!

    Sorry for the delayed response.

    1. I'm afraid we do not have such a layout on our demo sites. Each page builder and theme used will affect Amelia in a different way. Therefore, you can use Amelia Lite to test if it can adjust to your website design. If it doesn't look the way you expected, please send us a URL to the page where you placed the booking form and our developers will provide you with a CSS to resolve the issue.

    2. The same situation here: it's all about a particular page builder and a theme, so we have to see the page to find a solution.

    3. Go to the WordPress Settings (not Amelia) and open General Settings, at the bottom, you will see two options to set Date and Time format. Save those changes and go back to Amelia.

    4. Do you want to replace price tags in general or only for free events?

    5. Unfortunately, I cannot tell which words exactly might be untranslated due to the update. You should know that every new update will add new strings to the translation and it will take time to get them translated. So it will be happening regularly. But the good news is: it is quite simple to modify a translation. As I mentioned, we have a very detailed step-by-step guide.

    6. To make sure everything was configurated correctly, please send a test email (a button below the notification test). Also, make sure you switched on Appointment Canceled and checked the Spam folder. You mentioned that you didn't receive the notification as an Admin. What about the service performer? Did he/she receive it?

    7. Yes, you can get this information in the email notifications if you use a particular placeholder.

    8. Yes, it is. We don't save any data on our side from your website, everything added to Amelia on your website is saved in your database, it isn't saved in any form by us. Only the license activation - on which domain you activated your Amelia license on. For Amelia to be fully GDPR compliant we added a Delete button for the customers to the front-end customer panel with which customers can delete any data they have on your website by only clicking that button in the panel (this is configured in Amelia -> Settings -> Roles settings). https://wpamelia.com/front-end-customer-panel/

If you have any other questions, please let us know.

    Hello Liza,

    Thank you for your reply.

I did test on a wordpress website the lite version. I can see the sidebar as expected. Thank you very much! :)

    3/ Ok I'll test

4/My client would like to replace price tags only for the FREE events

6/ I did receive a notification  as administrator with the notification test. I wasn't able to receive it (as an administrator) without the notification test althought the test attendee could either book or cancel an event.

7/ Do you know what placeholder? or is it pretty straightforward to find how to use the placeholder?

You also mentionned that I can add additional event details on the sidebar with custom css, could you tell me how to do this? Please see screenshots sidebar-details.png.

Also does an attendee has to create an account on the wordpress website to book an event or cancel it.

    Thank you

    Hi, Marion!

Sorry for the delayed response, we don't work on weekends.

I'm glad to hear the tests are going well so farsmile.png

    4. We can provide you with CSS that will hide all the price tags. Unfortunately, removing only the "Free" price tag isn't possible at the moment.

    5. Email notifications are being sent to Employees and Customers after the particular types of Notifications are enabled. If you want to receive these notifications as an Admin as well, please add your email address to "Send all notifications to additional addresses" in Amelia -> Settings -> Notifications.

    7. Yes, it's really easy (especially with the latest Amelia update 3.0.2). Just check

</> Show Email Placeholders in Amelia -> Notifications -> Email notifications. Placeholders for custom fields will be created automatically and you'll be able to find the right one by hovering over it:

    0D2WgytGd9Gqfhz6YN10OW5RlMbgTL-deOYhyDXyiqL9IdQqOtxeF8yZJNS8loIgsgWtyOdZ_sQTUeT4RoNmiD1NCDPc2hx8sVed61KtVPqZgjPFtegCu0gwldXX50zY75Qv70Ek

    8. Normally, we provide custom CSS as a part of Premium Support that is included in all Amelia licenses. But since it's a crucial function for you, we will make an exception. Please send as URL of the page with Amelia, so we will try to find the right selectors.

    9. No, they don't have to create accounts for that.

    Hope that will help.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks a lot Liza, we are buying the plugin thanks a lot for your support and answers. I am about to buy the basic amelia for 53€ but comparing to the other plans there isn't the "packages of services". What does that mean.

  • [deleted] replied

    Hi, Marion!

    I'm glad I could helpsmile.png

Packages of Services is a feature that allows creating packages of multiple appointments (of the same or different services). In that case, the services that are included in the package and the number of appointments will be fixed, and the price will be set for the whole package. You can see more information here.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions or concerns.

    Best Regards.
