There are no options to send an ICS file to the employees at the moment, simply because we have Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar integration, so if you link your employees to those, appointments will automatically be added as busy events.
If you require the ICS file to be sent to employees as well, I'll forward that as a feature suggestion to our developers.
I think the ICS is a good idea. Most will not do the Google integration, as Google has made it extremely difficult (and as devs, we can't login anymore for a customer to help them).
And the Outlook integration ended up not working. I am still gathering details, but even with Microsoft's help, the customer never got it to work...and the documentation is not clear on what it's uses are.
So, yes, and ICS file for employees who are Outlook users (and Thunderbird) could benefit from that option.
Thank you for your suggestion, it has been forwarded to our development team, so they can work on it in the future.
I personally connected multiple Outlook Calendars following our documentation, and I had no issues with it. If you can provide me a temporary wp-admin user, I can connect your website to my Outlook user, just to confirm that it's working, but I can't access your Outlook profile, so I wouldn't be able to connect Amelia to your profile.
So the system will send an ICS file to a visitor, but it is not to the Employee. Is there a way to enable ICS files to employees as well?
Hello Ray
