Unfortunately, coupons can't be used in packages yet. We will add this option in the future, but at the moment, you can only configure a different (discounted) price for packages.
You can use [ameliabooking show=packages] or [ameliacatalog show=packages] to only display packages on front-end.
You can hide the image only with some custom CSS. Can you please share a screenshot with me, showing me which image/color you're referring to?
I don't have details on that, David, so you'll have to wait until Monday when our developers get in, in order to know what's different between a regular booking and Packages booking.
Even if I told you right away (if I knew exactly) why it doesn't work with packages, you wouldn't be able to fix it easily. If it was that easily fixable, it would've been added in v3.0.1 or v3.0.2. A lot of customers are asking for coupons in Packages, you're not the only one, so our developers would've already added that feature if it was simply overlooked.
JS files are modified (minimized) in public version of plugin (in our development environment is accessible), but unfortunately I can not send you our source code because that is the policy of our company.
All those files that have extension .vue are compressed and minimized in JS files that is very hard and not recommended modifying. So in order to add some other features you can unminify the js and customize it.
I created a package but for some reason the coupon code field does not show up there.
It shows up everywhere except for the package.
Also the package doesn't have a shortcode? Confused.
Yet another point, is it possible to disable the images or the color bar on top of the catalog items?

Not sure why the checkout system would be different for packages, should all be the same no?
And about that shortcode, no way to select the particular package? I have to show all?
Hi again David.
The logic is not the same for packages, so coupons can't be included in them at the moment. We will add this in the future, though.
As for the shortcode, you can choose a specific package only with [ameliacatalog] shortcode, for example:
[ameliabooking package=1]

I don't understand why the logic is different.
There's a price and there's a discount.
It's the same as everywhere else.
What did I miss?
Coupons cannot be used for packages at the moment, David.
The way they have been created currently doesn't allow that.
Our developers will work on this in the future, and it will become available at some point in the future.

Not my point, you mentioned that the logic is different, I would like to know more details about that.
I am convinced such a feature would not require any special efforts to implement, it was overlooked, not a logic problem.
