    I still waiting to test Amelia's two-way integration with Google Calendar. Amelia's appointments, so far, are not being recorded on my calendar.

    I followed the step by step for two-way integration with Google Calendar, including the point of requesting the security verification of an app that must be created for this purpose, but Google indicated that it can take up to 3 weeks. I know that what I'm going to ask you is not something specific to Amelia, but it is closely related: Do you know if there is any way I can see the status or progress of the Google review?

    Hello Melvin,

    You don't need to verify the project/app in Google in order to use Google sync in Amelia. Unfortunately, we can't say how long does it take and what is the process like, and how you can check the progress of it.

    After following instructions for syncing Amelia to Google, you will be able to connect your employees to their Google calendars - you just need to go through the steps my colleague Aleksandar explained in the other ticket https://tmsplugins.ticksy.com/ticket/2649743/ and that is it .

    If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.

    I think I'm having trouble with Amelia's Google Calander integration.

    More than a week ago I tried to follow the step-by-step described in Amelia's documentation and the developer console displayed a message telling me that I should wait between 1 and 3 weeks for Google to validate the application.

    Today I started again, in order to review the progress of the validation process that Google indicated, and the truth is that it was not possible. What I could see is that when I add the credentials to the project, a new tab opens in the browser (which I don't remember seeing when I did it for the first time), called: "OAuth consent screen", in which I must select the "User type": Internal or External? And the truth is that at this point I don't know what to answer.

    I would like your support to know what to answer, and I do not know if it would be within your reach, to review what I have done so far, or to provide me with some guidance that allows me to review it on my own.

    Sincerely,

    Hello Melvin,

    All of those steps are provided in our instructions for the Google integration here https://wpamelia.com/configuring-google-calendar/ so please go through all of the steps exactly as in the documentation and you will be able to sync Amelia to Google. There are screenshots of each step as well (and "User type": Internal or External? question you mentioned is in there as well).

    I followed all the steps, but I guess I did something wrong. Maybe I skipped a step.

    The issue is that when I try to connect the employee with Google Calendar and select my Gmail account, I get the following error message, whose original version in Spanish, is in the attached image.

    Authorization error
    Error 403: access_denied
    The developer hasn't given you access to this app. It’s currently being tested and it hasn’t been verified by Google. If you think you should have access, contact the developer ([email protected]).
    More information
    Request details
    access_type = offline
    response_type = code

    state = 1
    client_id = 841947109649-an9kc5qo4d9jksfs8oilo55vo902qofd.apps.googleusercontent.com
    prompt = consent
    scope = https: //www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar

    Attached you will also see the credentials that the Google console provided me, after finishing the step by step.

    Could you help me solve this issue?

    I had all the care to do the step by step, but surely something failed me.

    Best regards,

    Melvin Brea

    Hello Melvin,

    That error indicates that the connection can't be established , mostly due to security reasons, something is blocking the connection. This shouldn't happen if you followed all the steps from our instructions, could you please check have you followed this last part

    • After you copy the credentials into Amelia settings/Integrations/Google Calendar you still won’t be able to connect your employees to the calendar. To do that, go back to the “OAuth Consent screen”, and under Publishing Status click on “Publish App”. That will bring out a modal, where you need to CONFIRM that the app should be published.

    And have you chosen External user type for the project

    I have solved the problem that was occurring with the integration between Amelia and Google calendar. The downside was that [email protected] account did not have access to the Google api. So I went into the Google developer console and granted access to the account. Indeed Google needs to validate the application, but while doing so, they offer the possibility of using a maximum of 100 accounts.

    Already the integration with Google Calendar is working perfectly. It is a wonder. I love Amelia. I still think Amelia is a great product.

    Please, close this ticket.

    Best regards,
