In the front-end event view, there seems to be no failsafe for faulty server response. In my case, the server returned 502 status but the loader kept spinning. It would be great to give some kind of an alert to the user. Otherwise, they are waiting for events that won't show.
Amelia's front-end mostly depends on what you set it up in back-end. If there's a loader screen shown, there are a few possible causes. Maybe there are no services created, or no employees, or the employees aren't assigned to services.
Since you're seeing a server error - we need to take a look at it, and see why it's coming back with an error. The plugin itself can't know why the error is being caused, and other than saying something like "Sorry, something went wrong", there's not much we can do about it.
I will forward your suggestion to our developers, so they can work on it in the future, but if you're experiencing this issue still, please provide me the page where this is happening, and a temporary wp-admin (administrator) user, so I can remote in and see what's going on?
Please note that this is a public ticket, so make sure to enable the Private response.
Thanks for your support. 70.000 users trying to book an event is pretty extreme and I believe we never had a use-case like this.
I will forward the suggestion to add an error notification when the time slot is unavailable, so I hope that'll be included soon.
As for your use case, please feel free to add it to the ticket. We're still short-staffed, and we don't have time for live support. Our support team is getting bigger, so hopefully in a month or two, that'll be an option in cases like this.
