I deactivated the free amelia plugin and deleted the FTP file and then I installed on the FTP the plugin that I downloaded from the store. I put the purchase code and I stay in free mode. Can you help me?
Could you please explain in more details this I put the purchase code and I stay in free mode. ? If you deactivate and deleted free Amelia and installed the full/paid version, then you are able to activate it in Amelia -> Settings -> Activation , and if you can't do that and you still have the 'Get preimum version' messages in Amelia then you are still having the free/Lite version of the plugin.
Please follow again the installation/update from Lite instructions, but make sure to remove Lite from your local machine or be sure that you are installing the Full version - they both have the same name (the zip files) so this can cause the issue.
Update the plugin manually by following these steps:
2) Delete Amelia plugin from WordPress Plugins page
3) Click on Add new on Plugins page
4) Click on Upload plugin on Plugins page
5) Choose previously downloaded ameliabooking zip file
6) When uploading is done, please Activate Amelia plugin
7) Clear server and browser cache.
Please note that if you delete plugin from Plugins page you WILL NOT lose your data, because it is already saved in your database.
Please note that our plugin have a size of around 10 MB so if yo are not able to upload the plugin through WordPress plugins page, then you need to increase following:
upload_max_file size,
post_max_size ,
max_execution_time
You should be able to find these values in your php.ini file or on your hosting panel. If you can't find it yourself please ask your hosting provider to provide it.
