Hello,
I've successfully set up the Google Calendar integration so new appointments get added to the employee's calendar. However, it seems they can only connect their google calendar from the back-end amelia dashboard (so the one within wp-admin), not their teacher dashboard?
I only give employees access to the Amelia teacher dashboard, not the back-end wp-admin. I don't even know how to give them access to the wp-admin (and I'd rather not do that).
So I'm wondering what's the step-by-step plan to let employees connect their google calendar?
(My workflow so far: I create the employee in the wp-admin amelia backend and create a password for their teacher dashboard. They get an email to log in to the teacher dashboard and set their availability. But then I'm stuck, don't know how to let them connect their calendar) :)
Thanks!
Hello Lukas,
There isn't a possibility for employees to connect their profiles to Google calendars in the front-end Employee panel with Amelia's current features , unfortunately. This is possible only in the back-end of Amelia, because of the redirect URI option in Google settings. You can give your employees access to the WP back-end if you wish for this, by creating a new WP user for them, you will see this option when you open/edit the employee on the Amelia -> Employees page. In this case a WP user would be created for them with the Amelia Employee role, so they would have the same access/permission in your WP back-end as they have in the employee panel.
If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
