Hi, I would like to perform some encryption of the excel/word and email the exported file to the requester. Are there any APIs I can call to generate the excel file data?
Unfortunately we don't have any APIs, and the generated reports can only be downloaded from the page. At the moment there're no built-in options that would allow you to send them via email.
I was speaking to my developer and she mentioned that it should be possible for her to build a separate plugin to call the report builder php functions.
Would it be possible to guide us on the function we should be looking for generating the reports? We could take it from there ourselves
The function that creates reports build are in file wp-content/plugins/reportbuilder/source/class.reportbuilder.php around line 418
For Word, the logic is in wp-content/plugins/reportbuilder/source/class.document.builder.php And for Excel, it's in wp-content/plugins/reportbuilder/source/class.spreadsheet.builder.php
