I've had 2 customers book the same product, neither recieved an email notification and neither did I.
It appeared in my dashboard as a request and the booking approved email was sent to both me and customer. Since these are the first 2 customers, it seems like the first notification isn't working at all.
Please check if the Pending notification is checked on the Amelia -> Notifications page.
Also, please check if you have followed our instructions for setting up email notifications in Amelia. There are different Mail service options, and we don't recommend the PHP Mail, if you use that one, as the emails can be flagged as spam/junk or being sent late.
If you use SMTP it can be used with Gmail like we provided an example for or any other mail service provider, but you need to have a configuration they need for that. Sometimes using SMTP for some providers like Gmail or similar is not supported by the hosting/server. So you need to check this out with them as well, what configuration is needed for SMTP sending emails on your servers.
If you have some other plugin for this purpose, sending emails/ SMTP, on your website, then you need to choose WP Mail as a Mail service in Amelia and it will use that other plugin's configuration for sending emails.
