Creating a website for my sister's business (domain is temporary for now). I'm creating a booking system for a pet grooming business. I would like to use the package option however, the conditions are too rigid.
Right now, I need to create each and every single combination of various services to create packages. What I'm looking for is to give clients the option of making more than one booking (for more than one pet). The idea is that if someone has 2 bookings or more, they receive 10% off the lowest value service (and each subsequent service). So if someone books say 3 services, one for $100, one for $75, and one for $50, they will have to pay full price for the first one and will receive 10% off the second and third services.
I am unable to figure out a way to do this.
There are 8 services that are eligible to use this offer. However, creating each and every single combination between each service will be tedious and look extremely messy on the user end (I have seen both the catalog and booking versions and i think from a mobile perspective catalog works best). Is there a way to allow multiple bookings and provide a discount on the least valued item(s) automatically? If you check out the URL above, say someone books a full grooming cat package AND books a medium dog standard package. Since the Medium dog package is the lesser of two, at checkout we would like to offer a 10% discount on the latter.
The alternative is to get people who have multiple bookings to call in, but of course this isn't great from a user experience point of view.
There isn't a possibility to have a discount calculated in the booking process, unfortunately - you set the price of the package when you create the package in the back-end and this is the only way to set its price. Customers can book only one package at a time, they can't book several packages at the same time. So, you would need to create all the combinations that you need as packages in the back-end, and set their prices manually there.
If you have any further questions or concerns feel free to ask.
