We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello,
we need a datatable to query some JSON data. The reason why I'm contacting you is, that we're designing the page with Elementor and I would need some advise how to get data from a form-edit-field into one of the widget-placeholders (%VAR1%) of a corresponding table, please.
Any help would be much appreciated !
And one other thing that drives us nuts: We're having a query that takes a couple of seconds until the response from the API is complete. For the user, this process feels like a browser crash. Can we prevent the table from loading when the page loads – and just trigger the query from Elementor with a button - somehow ?
Thanks million (-;
Stefan
Hello Stefan
Thank you for your purchase.
Tables created from JSON files can't be edited, so placeholders can only be used for filtering the table. For instance, if you add %VAR1% as a predefined filtering value for column1, you can filter the table with the shortcode like [wpdatatable id=1 var1=test].
The loading icon should be displayed there, but for some reason it's not appearing. Our developers will work on this, and hopefully in one of our future updates you'll see a loader before the table is completely loaded.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
