I'm looking at your wpdatatables plugin and I'm very interested as it seems very good to me and it's something I'm looking for, but I need several functions and I don't know if your plugin does them?
If you allow me, I will explain why I need your plugin, I am the webmaster of a page of amateur tennis players, we are about 70 players who play a championship throughout the year and we are dividing it into small championships of two months each , in each of those small two-month championships we make groups of 6 players who face each other and they send us a form with the results of their matches and at the end of each two-month period the best ones go up to a higher group and the worst go down to a lower group, meaning that every two months the composition of the groups changes.
Currently we receive through a WPFORM form the results of each match and we have to put each result by hand on the web page, I have found a plugin that takes the results from the WPFORM database and lets me automatically place them in my web with what is a great saving of work for me, this other plugin is called CRM Entries, but I have the problem that I am not able to organize the results well and it gives me all mixed up the ones in the database and not I can separate them by groups or by days, so it doesn't help me.
In the version of your free plugin that I downloaded, it does not bring active the function to connect to my wordpress database, but I have seen that it is quite good, but I am not able to organize the data of a csv that I have either. loaded and what I need is the following: In one of the sheets of my website where I have the groups of players, I need each table of results of the 6 players of each group to appear between a range of dates, for example there would be a table made manually with the names of the first 6 players and then a table with the results of the two months only of those 6 players and so on with each group of players, to get an idea of how we organize it you can see my website: https://clubopen.es/master-individual- 2020-21 / that is, several tables would go using the same database but with different data.
It has also caught my attention on your DEMO page that there is a black column on the left in what visitors see with the names of the other tables and I do not want that and I do not know if it may not appear.
Thank you very much for your kindness and I look forward to hearing from you. A cordial greeting.
I don't believe, unfortunately, that what you're looking for to achieve is not possible with the built-in features of wpDataTables.
If you create a manual table, you need to fill it manually, so for a table that ranges between two certain dates, you need to add rows that contain data related to those dates. Since you're already saving all data in the database, you would be able to connect a separate DB connection, and create an SQL query based table. Depending on how the data is being pulled (if the query is complex or simple), you may or may not have the editing capability for that table. If a query is complex, editing won't work, and most likely sorting and filtering won't work either. If filtering doesn't work, and the table is small, you can disable server-side processing, and it will work fine after that, but you still won't be able to edit that table.
Connecting data between tables can be done either through a query, using UNION or JOIN functions, or with the help of foreign key feature.

Forgot about the blue column, Jose.
The demos are displayed to resemble WordPress' back-end, so that's not shown on front-end if you simply paste the table's shortcode.
