My website uses Elementor. Prior to applying the last Amelia update, I could update anything in my website with Amelia activated. After I applied the last update to Amelia three days ago, I noticed  I could not update anything in my website because elementor will not work (the left side widget will load- there is this blue circle that keeps going round and round for ever) while Amelia is active. So I decided to deactivate Amelia, then I was able to update something in my website (elementor worked fine). I reactivated Ameilia, then elementor stopped working again.

So, in order for me to be able to update anything in my website, I have to first deactivate Amelia, perform the update, then go back and reactivate Amelia.

Unfortunately, booking and payment in my website are through Ameilia, so every time Amelia is turned off for me to be able to update anything in my website, it means no booking or payment can be made in my website. This is really frustrating and disappointing, because I could be loosing customers and money.

This has been happening for the past three days since I updated Amelia, I could not figure it out until now that I did some research to diagnose what is causing this issue.

I will appreciate it if this issue can be resolved ASAP!

    Thank you,

    Peter

    Hello Peter,

We've investigated the issue and found that the issue occurs when Elementor and Amelia are used with PHP version 7.3 or an older one. Sorry for any inconveniences this have caused.

We have created a fix for this issue , and i n order to fix it on your website, you need to replace the file attached here with the one that is already in Amelia on your website. The file in question is AmeliaCatalogElementorWidget.php and you will find it at location

    wp-content/plugins/ameliabooking/src/Infrastructure/WP/Elementor

Please let me know if this solved the issue!

We will implement this fix in the next update of Amelia.
