We use this product mostly to schedule virtual fitness classes with trainers all over the world. These classes may be scheduled a month or two in advance, but at some point, the trainers may switch or need another one of our trainers to teach the class for them. I've tried to go into that specific event and change the zoom user to another trainer, and it lets me do this, and shows the new trainer assigned to that class. However, this does not change zoom for either of the trainers. Zoom still shows the original user scheduled for that class, and does not update the user in Zoom when we make the change in Amelia.
How do we change this once people have already signed up for the class? We can't cancel it and create a new event without removing all the people already signed up. But we do need to switch the zoom user account.
We implemented some change in Zoom integration in the newest version of Amelia, version 3.0. Could you please update Amelia to the newest version and see if the issue is gone?

We have downloaded the new version, even before we tested the zoom employee change. Amelia allows us to change the employee just fine from the backend. However, zoom does not detect that it's been changed, and neither does the employee widget. Even when I'm trying to access the meeting in the backend, with my name now selected as employee zoom room, if I'm not the original employee scheduled, it tells me I do not have access to start the meeting. ONLY if we add the additional user as a co-host from ZOOM, not amelia.
However, the other issue has to do with the employee widget. Since we have employees all over the world in various time zones, the widget is useless to us anyway, so even if it did update the employee panel, we can't use it because of the time zone issue.
Either way at this point, we don't have an option to switch zoom users in events. If we change it, the widget doesn't work and we can't use the widget anyway. But also, zoom isn't updated, so if we rely on our zoom accounts to log into meetings, zoom isn't updated with the new user, so the user doesn't see the event at all.
Sorry I misunderstood the issue, we implemented an improvement regarding Services when the employee is changed and not for events. In events ,, the Zoom integration is done by adding the Zoom user directly to the event , so it has nothing to do with the employees in Amelia, and the improvement made in 3.0 won't help in this. For now, there isn't a possibility to change Zoom when you change the Zoom user in the event in Amelia. We have this improvement in our to-do list for events as well, but we can't say for sure when it will be implemented, unfortunately.
So it appears EVENTS has some issues that need to be worked out. We will be using events for fitness classes with trainers all over the world, who may switch with each other from time to time, and zoom accounts have to be upgraded. We do have all these coaches in our main zoom account, so it's simple to switch them in the event, but it sounds like zoom and calendars don't sync both ways.
Since we use Events for everything, and have issues with time zones and the employee panel, I'd love to see more effort put into correcting some of those issues.

We do have these feature requests in our lists, but for now we can't say when they could be implemented. I do hope the Zoom user change for events and employees' timezone (this is same for services and events) would be possible in one of the future releases of Amelia.
