I would like to have something else on the same page as a table and chart follow the table filter. How can I tie into the table filter update in order to update the rest of my page just like the chart does?
The other thing on the page I want to update with the table filter is a map with points of interest. The map points' coordinates are in the same MySQL table as the table and chart also displayed on the page. So, when the table is filtered, I'd like the map to show only the table's points.
Unfortunately, we don't have any integrations with mapping plugins, and we can't say how something like this can be achieved. It's definitely custom work, and as that it doesn't fall under included support for the plugin.
We never done anything like this, so I can't even provide advice.
You can take a look at our filters and hooks, and see if there's anything there that can help you with this.
Also, we can recommend these services for customization:
Thank you, however, to be clear I already have the map plugin in place. You can see a simple example here.
I want to achieve the same effect as when a wpcharts follows the wptable filter and the chart only shows the data that is visible in the table.
So, if you go to that example page and filter the 'lat' column to be in the range of 0 to 20, I would like only the 3 locations in the table to be "marked" on the globe. Is there a way to know the table filter so I can update my globe accordingly?
Sorry, if this is the same question again. I just wanted to make sure I was being clear. I should have provided an example the first time I asked the question.
Unfortunately, something like this does require coding knowledge, and included support refers only to advice, so I can't help you with it. If we did anything similar in the past, I would've gladly shared some advice with you.
Our developers are very busy at the moment, working on some priority tasks and fixing bugs and issues with our plugins, so they won't be having the time for custom work in the near future.
But we can recommend these services for customization:

Hi again Joe
Thank you for the explanation. That does seem pretty cool, I must say, but to achieve something like this you would need to develop a custom solution.
You can take a look at our hooks, filters and wpDataTables callbacks, and see if there's anything that would help you here.
