We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hello, I want to edit and display my tables only for the admin so it would be better to render the shortcode only in the wp-admin area.
I know how to create a new menu / submenu in the back office but I don't know how to render a shortcode in the back office.
Is there a way to display a wpdatatable in a dedicated admin page ?
Hello Sebastien
Thank you for your purchase.
wpDataTables is a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) concept based plugin. This means that the table should look the same both in back-end and in front-end.
If you need the tables only in back-end, using wpDataTables doesn't require any shortcodes, and it can't be used in that way. Your admins can access and edit the tables through wpDataTables section.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

I have thought about the solution you propose, it's the one I'm using right now but it's not very convenient for everyday admin :
- to go through the wpdatatables admin menu.
- to see and access all the admin settings
I'd like to display the table in a dedicated menu (exp: "list of projects" / "list of users" / "list of messages") with no admin settings of the table, do you think it's possible ?
It's not possible with the plugin's built-in features, Sebastien.
You can probably create a custom solution of some sort that would allow this, but it's not included in the provided support for the plugin.
We've never done anything like this, so I can't even advise on how to proceed.
Kind Regards,

Oh it's a shame :'-( ... Well I will try to find out if there's a solution for this. Thank you Aleksandar for your answer.
You're welcome, Sebastien
I'm sorry I couldn't be of any further assistance here.
