We have three instructors who offer an online service. We are trying to figure out the best way for clients to schedule online sessions using Amelia/Zoom. I understand that I can connect a Zoom account to my Amelia account, and that a zoom meeting ID can be automatically generated and sent to the instructor and client when the client schedules a session.
My question is: If we purchase a Zoom Pro license (on the same Zoom account) for each instructor, will any one of the instructors be able to host the Zoom meeting? If they have a license on the Zoom Account, and receive the Zoom meeting ID, will any one of the three instructors be able to host the session?
It is possible to connect each employee with different zoom user so they can have separate Zoom accounts for the meetings. To set this go back to your Zoom account. Click on the “User Management” in the left sidebar and then click on the “Users”.
When you upgrade the admin account to Pro, you'll be able to add new employees to which your employees can link. Then, when the appointment is assigned to them, they will be hosts of those appointments.
Thanks for your response, but I have two more questions.
1) "When you upgrade the admin to Pro", do you mean upgrade the Zoom account or the Amelia account?
2) Also, is Amelia not compatible with Elementor Pro?. I have successfully linked a Zoom account and added the Zoom host/join placeholders to the email notifications. However, the %zoom_host_url% and %zoom_join_url% codes do not work. Even when I add them, the zoom link is not included in the email notification. How can I make it work such that the email notification includes the Zoom link?
3) Gmail is suspicious of the notification emails sent through Amelia. How can I get rid of the spam warning? Did any of your clients encounter similar problems?
1. Zoom account. You already have Amelia purchased, and Zoom works with it.
2. This question has been answered in a separate ticket.
3. There's no one solution for this. We recommend to use SMTP or WP Mail instead of PHP Mail, but that doesn't guarantee anything. You can take a look at this thread to see how you can prevent emails from going into SPAM.
1) It seems that I might not need a Zoom Pro upgrade. Apparently, the Zoom Basic account can have multiple Basic users who can host 1-on-1 meetings (unlimited duration) simultaneously. I will test to see if this indeed works...
2) Thanks for the tips. This worked out fine.
3) WP Mail worked for Gmail recipients but not other types of addresses (they still receive the emails in the spam folder).
Finally, I am excited about the new package for Amelia Pro which allows clients to purchase a bundle of sessions and schedule them later on their own time.
I'm glad to hear this, thanks for letting me know.
As for package feature - that will be included only in Amelia Pro (not Amelia Basic), so it may be a good time to upgrade the license now, since we have a 30% Christmas discount applied to all licenses.
