We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi,
I just bought Amelia and have three questions:
1) Is it possible to enable the option "Allow bringin more persons" for an event, but limit the additional persons to, for example, 4 persons?
2) Is it possible to show the description of an event even if it is already closed? Otherwise, once an event is closed, it is not possible to read through any more information about it.
3) When I want to show multiple events with the same tag (using the shortcode [ameliaevents tag='name']), only one date field is ever shown and I have to search for the matching date. Is it possible to display all events of a tag without having to select a date?
Thanks a lot!
Dominik
Hi Dominik,
Thank you for your purchase.
1) There isn't a possibility to limi the number of persons someone will book for in Amelia with its current built-in features, unfortunately. You can check out here if there is such request and vote for it.
2) It isn't possible to open the event when it is closed for booking - as when you open it there are the booking options, etc. these are the information shown for a closed event/ this is how it can look on the front-end only
3) The events shown in the list are from the date chosen in the date picker , you don't choose a date so an event is shown - all events that have the tag should be shown in the list from the date you choose in the date picker . So when you choose one date, all future events from that date should be shown.
If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
