Client/Appointment information and mobile App?

Amelia works for me already the second day successfully, and clients can book and pay (even though some of my customers claim to have problems when paying with CC via Stripe - I guess they do something wrong though!)

    My problems so far:

I get the information that a booking was made and simultaneously I get an email about the payment. The only thing I see in this Mails is, for which day&time it was booked and how much the payment was. I don't see any Client information at all (neither name nor email of client). Only some weird meta code, which is not useful for me at all. My clients put all information such as names, emails in the booking form, why I can't I see it in the mails? I have to activate smith to get this information?

The same thing is happening with my Calendars. I see the right days&times of appointments in my Google Calendar, but I don't see with whom I have an appointment, which is crucial for me.

And overall, is or will there be a mobile app? It is quite cumbersome to go via mobile phones in the WP interface to see or approve/edit appointments.

Thank you as always for an response, I really appreciate this forum and I promise I won't be so demanding for a long time :)!

    Hello Phil,

Apologies for replying a bit later, we don't work on weekends.

Glad to see you started using Amelia for your bookings successfully.

Email notifications are configured on the Amelia -> Notifications page, and for any information you want to have in the emails regarding appointments/customers you need to add those placeholders to the email templates. You will find all of the placeholders that you can use when you click on </>Show Email Placeholders on the Amelia -> Notifications page. When you click on them, you copy them, and then you need to just paste them to the Message field of the notification you want. You can check out these instructions by following this link.

The same applies to Google calendar events, for any information about appointments in Amelia, you want to have in your Google calendar, you can add placeholders to the fields Event Title and Event Description which you will find in Amelia -> Settings -> Integrations ->  Google calendar settings. The same placeholders from the Amelia -> Notifications page are used here as well.

    Hello Marija,

    thank you, this makes sense.

One question about this: is it possible to add several placeholders in the Calendar integration fields? So that I get shown several information of my lessons?

    Hello Phil,

    You are welcome.

Yes, you can add more placeholders (for all the information you want to have in Google) to the Event Title and Event Description fields.

    Hello,

is there anything planned about a mobile App? I don't want my appointments to be confirmed automatically, so every time login in my WP panel is kind of cumbersome when on the way on my mobile phone. Is there an other way to do so?

    Hello Phil,

We haven't planned a mobile app for Amelia for now, so I can't tell if and when that could be considered or implemented, unfortunately. Please suggest it as a feature request here. There isn't another way of editing appointments and do admin editing in Amelia rather than the back-end of WP.
