Hello, if you treat the employee as providers and have provided a control panel in the front-end, you may have to connect service providers and amelia customers to their user profile including user name, nickname, and other information from WP User fields if possible, for customer side, I can easily set automatically create an account, or we allow only the user who has amelia customer role to book appointments, for the provider's end, I have to upload their profile image and set up the first name last name and so on for them, however, when providers changed their information by themself, their profile information will not sync to Amelia booking system, it may affect booking action, users book a time slot on the providers profile page after they have done, they may see different information on their control panel. is it possible to set automatically update the profile by WP profile? it is a feature recommendation in the feature, hope you guys consider this. Thank you for the great plugin!
There isn't a possibility for the employees to automatically change/update based on the WP users' profiles , unfortunately - there isn't such connection in Amelia's current built-in features. The WP - Amelia employee connection was made at the beginning so users could be able to give access and permissions to their employees to manage their schedule and appointments in Amelia via WP , as the front-end panel was implemented way later. The same applies to customers.
Thank you for the suggestion, I will add it as a feature request to our list, and you can check if there is such request here and vote for it, or suggest it if there isn't one.
If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
Hi Marija, Thank you for your reply. I decided to hire a freelancer to implement my requirement right now. for implementing this requirement, Do you have any suggestions or documents about this? if so, I would very much appreciate your help.
Amelia users are saved in the amelia_users table in your database, so you can check it out there - and see if you can manage to update it on changes made for WP users. Unfortunately, we don't have any suggestions or documentation on that.
