I have a customer that booked an appointment and the time she booked it for is the time zone tied to her address on file. She is moving to a different time zone.

My question is when her address is updated in the booking system, will that update her appointment time to the new time zone as well?

And is there a way we can have a shortcode to go after the %appointment_start_time% to say which time zone they are in?

    Hello Jeanne

Amelia doesn't have any time zone settings, it inherits the time zone from WordPress. If your time zone is in UTC+/- format, please change it by selecting the city near you. Also, please check if you enabled "Show bookings in customer's time zone" in Amelia's General settings.

If you are in a different time zone than your WordPress site is, and you've enabled this option, the times on front-end will show available time slots in your time zone, which will be the time you set in back-end +/- the time difference (depending on where you are in regard to the time zone set in WordPress' General settings).

So, the times displayed in front-end (in the panel for example) depend on the customer's IP address, not their physical address. There are no placeholders which can tell the customer which time zone they're in, as Amelia doesn't have any time zone settings.

    Kind Regards,
