We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!

We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.

You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.

While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.

We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.

Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!

    Hi,

We have an installation of Amelia that is working fine, but it was mistakenly installed on a server with the WordPress timezone set to GMT/UTC - which is incorrect for our region.

While it is working OK as is, we'd like to change the timezone to our local one, but of course this causes all the times of appointments to appear to update.

It looks like to make this happen I'll have to update the appointment times manually to reflect the timezone difference.

I just wanted to confirm my understanding that the time fields in the appointment table in the database - e.g., bookingStart and bookingEnd - are stored in GMT/UTC time? So simply adjusting these fields (and I guess any other time fields) to make them reflect UTC should be all I need to do?

Alternatively if there are any better ways to approach this please let me know.

    Thanks!

    Hello David

    Thank you for your purchase.

That is correct, once you change your WordPress time zone, Amelia's times will change to.

Also, the default database settings are GMT. That can be changed, but I doubt it was changed unless you asked that from your hosting provider. So all the times you see there are in GMT.

    Kind Regards,
