Unfortunately, I can't say what's going on here without taking a look.
Please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look ‘from the inside’ as that’s the most efficient way to see and resolve the issue. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party.
You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.
I looked into the issue a little more my side this morning. I think the errors occurring from when it updates. it failed repeatedly to update and every time asked for my purchase code. after several attempts it finally accepted it and seems to be working. perhaps when it updates it seems to remove the PC, could that be causing the issue?
The purchase code has nothing to do with functioning of the plugin. It's there to verify your purchase and enable auto-updates, and also to show us that you have a valid license and are entitled to support.
The plugin itself works the same with the purchase code active and with it inactive.

ok, I understand. hopefully the issue has sorted itself out for now
here's the error I keep getting with Amelia, it keeps disconnecting the licence code and asking me to update every couple of days

Please verify that the temporary WP-admin login for your site still works, and also provide me credentials for your database (phpMyAdmin or cPanel).
Just remember to enable the Private Reply so nobody can see the credentials except us.
