    1) If i put the e-mail field non-obligatory - it is still obligatory from the back-office

    2) When time is switching from winter to summer and backward, Amelia is behind the switch. she keeps sending misleading time schedule for over a week after the switch.

3)"Do not notify" will notify in some cases, even if its unchecked everywhere.

    4) When the appointment is moved to another day or therapist - it wont notify no one about it and wont correct google calendar info.

    5) SMS costs me over 5 times more than on the price list!

*Also, can you add an alternative? Like WhatsApp, Messenger, Telegram ,... SMS is kind of outdated... ALL my clients prefer WhatsApp...

...and then again... whats that scam is about??!

Its clearly written, in the price list, that its 0.07 to 0.16$

In reality, its 0.21 to 0.82$!!

I mean, thats called somewhere between fraudulent info. and stealing!

I have spent around 100$, it got me around 200SMS... Its 1/2$ per message?!!! When the price list says that it should be around a dime!

    6) Search by phone number is not functional.

    7) I NEED to have access to the client's file from the Appointment info. Its so not hard to add! Please do!

    8) "grab'n'move wont work on the calendar every time

    9) Why "Paid" option is on not on the "Appontments" page??? why do you need one more? just add it to the "reject, cancel, pending, approved" list!

    10) If i have to book someone in off the normal schedule time, as an exception. Why cant I bypass? why do i have to change all the schedule for this?

    11) I absolutely have to have a possibility to use the coupons from the back office!! over 90% of the clients will call for the appointment scheduling. Some of them have the coupon. But, i am booking them through the back office and i cant!! because the coupons are applicables only from the front?!!

    12) Why cant i see the visits history of each client?

    13) Can you add customisable fields?

    14) I have 3 rooms and 4 therapists. If people book in for 4 therapists onto the same time - one of them will have to go back... Is there any way to add "Number of available rooms" in the schedule?

    15) Any way to do an easy price specials? Kind of "buy one - get the second at 1/2 price?

    16) I also had some bad glitches in the "Services" section. When i was duplicating services, and it was creating kind of shortcuts instead... I forgot the nuances already, as it was a while ago...

PS. I know that every previous time all my complaints and requests were "flushed down the toilet", but I still hope that there is someone that cares out there. :/

Would highly appreciate if you could solve at least halve of this list.

    Thanks

    Hello Daniel,

    1) Could you please confirm that you have the newest version of Amelia, which is 2.9.3? I can't reproduce the issue on our testing website, so if you have the newest version and still have this issue, please provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a look. We do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.

    2) The timezone applied to Amelia is the one that you set in your WP General settings, so please check if you have set it to one of the City timezone options there, rather than the UTC+- options, as these UTC options don't reflect the saving times. If you have chosen City timezone please let me know what timezone have you chosen so we can check it out.

    3) Could you please confirm as well that this is the case with the newest Amelia version? If yes, could you please tell me in what occasions does it happen? Is it for some status change, for rescheduling, etc. ? So we can try to reproduce the issue and see when it is happening.

    4) The Google event can't be transferred to another calendar with changing the employee in the Amelia appointment , unfortunately, with the current Amelia Google sync. We are aware of this limitation, and have this in our to-do, so we will work on this possibility in one of the future versions of Amelia. Rescheduling with one employee (changing date/time) updates the date/time of the Google event as well.

    5) This is probably because one SMS notification take more than one actual SMS message to be sent, and this can be checked on the AMelia -> SMS notifications page, under the SMS history tab. Please go there and in the Segments column you will see the number of actual SMS messages those SMS notifications took. Please look at the attachment.

All SMS are sent in segments. In UTF-8, the total number of characters is 160, so if you go over that limit, the message is split into 2 segments, and the price of this notification would be doubled. More the content grows, more it will be charged. Also, if you're using another encoding, if you have some special characters in the notifications, the messages will be shortened to 70 characters per segment, so they will be split into more messages when they are sent.

So, in your case you probably have several segments there, and this is why the price for these notifications is higher. The price is per one SMS message. To lower the SMS price you need to shorten the SMS notifications in Amelia, or try to remove any special characters there.

We wouldn't make a fraud or steal from our users, sorry that you have got that impression of us.

    6) There isn't a possibility to search customer via their phone number in Amelia with its current features, unfortunately. I will add it as a feature request to our list, and you can suggest it as a  feature request here, so it can be considered in the future.

    7) There isn't a possibility for employees to see attachments from customers in the front-end panel in Amelia, unfortunately. These can be seen in the back-end of Amelia only, because of access and permissions added to these files. You can see if there is such feature request here, and vote for it, or suggest it if there isn't one.

    8) Could you tell us in more details when this happens, is it randomly for any employee/appointment or there is some special occasion/setup, so we can reproduce the issue and see where it is coming from?

    9) There isn't information about the payment status on the Appointments page, unfortunately, the other statuses are the appointments statuses not payment statuses so this is why Paid can't be there. You can suggest this as well as a feature request here

    10) Unfortunately, it isn't possible to book appointments outside the employees' work hours, this is how Amelia functions.

    11) Coupons can't be added in the back-end with Amelia's current features, unfortunately. Again, you can see if there is such feature request here, and vote for it, or suggest it if there isn't one.

    12) You can see appointments on the Amelia -> Appointments page, there is the Customer filter there. If you are referring to the Customers page, there isn't a possibility to see all of the appointments customers had there.

    13) You can add custom fields to services/events , you can read more about this feature by following this link

    14) There isn't such possibility in Amelia, unfortunately.

    15) You can only create coupons on 100%, so when customers book one appointment, they get a coupon that they can use for the second appointment and have it for free (with the 100% discount). You can read more about coupons here

    16) If you reproduce the issue again please let us know so we can check it out.

We are implementing all of the features based on our users' requests, but as we have many feature requests and suggestions we implement the most requested ones first. You can see here some of the feature requests and their votes.

    Yes, thats my version

You are telling me that it lets you to create a client from back-end without the e-mail and SAVE it?!

    2) The timezone applied to Amelia is the one that you set in your WP General settings, so please check if you have set it to one of the City timezone options there, rather than the UTC+- options, as these UTC options don't reflect the saving times. I did what you have suggested and ALL my appointments times were moved!! +It have notified my clients about the new time!! WOW thats "genius"!

    3) Could you please confirm as well that this is the case with the newest Amelia version?

    YES

If yes, could you please tell me in what occasions does it happen? Is it for some status change, for rescheduling, etc. ? So we can try to reproduce the issue and see when it is happening.

It happens randomly. I didn't figured the pattern yet.

Can it, at least create an extra event? as it is better than how it is, to have one "ghost" + real event

    5) This is probably because one SMS notification take more than one actual SMS message to be sent, and this can be checked on the AMelia -> SMS notifications page, under the SMS history tab. I have checked, yes indeed 3-5 segments each.

That brings three more questions: if its 3-5, why its x5?

Question 2: i have counted less than 200 characters, it should be x2... why x3-5??

Question 3: Why that information (about 160char') is hidden?

    6) There isn't a possibility to search customer via their phone number in Amelia with its current features, unfortunately. I will add it as a feature request to our list, and you can suggest it as a  feature request here, so it can be considered in the future.

That is Basic! It should be available!

    What are you talking about?!

At the end of the appointment, I need to update clients info.

But for that, I have to go to an other page, find the client, go to "edit", add the info., go back to the appointment page... "Marvelous" ... such a human friendly interface!

***fixing this issue is a matter of 15min

    8) Could you tell us in more details when this happens, is it randomly for any employee/appointment or there is some special occasion/setup, so we can reproduce the issue and see where it is coming from?

    No Idea, It happens randomly

    9) There isn't information about the payment status on the Appointments page, unfortunately, the other statuses are the appointments statuses not payment statuses so this is why Paid can't be there. You can suggest this as well as a feature request.

So, I guess, at your place, you have spoons and forks in different drawers... fantastically practical!

    10) Unfortunately, it isn't possible to book appointments outside the employees' work hours, this is how Amelia functions.

    Very inconvenient

    11) Coupons can't be added in the back-end with Amelia's current features, unfortunately. Again, you can see if there is such feature request here, and vote for it, or suggest it if there isn't one.

    What are you talking about?!

If I am booking an appointment for a client and he gives me his coupon number, I SHOULD be able to apply it for him! Otherwise I cant book him in properly!!

    12) You can see appointments on the Amelia -> Appointments page, there is the Customer filter there.

If you are referring to the Customers page, there isn't a possibility to see all of the appointments customers had there.

    Why not?!

    13) You can add custom fields to services/events , you can read more about this feature by following.

Thanks! Will check that up! :)

    14) There isn't such possibility in Amelia, unfortunately.

    Why not?!

    15) You can only create coupons on 100%, so when customers book one appointment, they get a coupon that they can use for the second appointment and have it for free (with the 100% discount).

And if I want to give him a 10% off for a year, for example?

    16) If you reproduce the issue again please let us know so we can check it out.

We are implementing all of the features based on our users' requests, but as we have many feature requests and suggestions we implement the most requested ones first. You can see here some of the feature requests and their votes.

Some things are obvious . Its like a door and a handle... they just go side-by-side... no need to vote on saying that doors need handles...

    Hello Daniel,

Apologies for replying a bit later, we don't work on weekends.

    1) Yes, I can create a new customer in the back-end without an email and save it.

    2) Sorry about that, but Amelia takes the timezone setting from WP, and the only way to set the timezone up properly is setting it up in WP general settings. The appointments made are in the timezone set in WP when they are booked.

    3) Thank you, will try different occasions to try to reproduce the issue on our end.

    4) There isn't a possibility for creating a new event either with Amelia's current features, unfortunately.

    5) There are some online calculators for SMS characters so you can try to use one of those to check out the characters used in SMS notifications. The number of segments shows the number of actual SMS Messages one notification take, so the price is multiplied by the number set in the Segments column. If the notification took 3 segments the price will be multiplied by 3, if it took 5 it will be multiplied by 5. If this is not the case on your website, pease provide me a temporary WP-admin login for your site where this happens, so we could log in and take a lookWe do not interfere with any data or anything else except for the plugin (in case that’s a production version of the site), and of course we do not provide login data to third party. You can write credentials here just check Private Reply so nobody can see them except us.

This isn't hidden, it is the number of characters/segments set by SMS providers, not by Amelia.

    7) This is in our to-do list, and we hope it will be implemented and possible in one of the future releases of Amelia. For now, I can't say when that could be, unfortunately.

    8) Thank you, like for point 3, we will try different occasions to try to reproduce the issue on our end.

    11) The only way of using coupons is the front-end, so unfortunately, there isn't  a possibility to use them in the back-end for now. We do have this in our to-do list for future implementation but for now we can't say when it could be implemented.

    12) Because it isn't available with Amelia's features, unfortunately.

    13) You are welcome.

    14) There are many, many use cases, and we try to adapt and improve Amelia to meet most of them, this is why we implement new features in each update based on our users' requests , and the most requested features are in the top of our to-do list.

    15) With coupons you can set the maximum usage per customer (the number of appointments) but there isn't a possibility to set a time limit for the coupons. We are currently working on the Packages feature, which should be implemented soon, in one of the following updates, and with it customers will be able to buy packages of services/appointments, book them all at once or separately (from the customer panel). So, I assume this would be helpful for your use case as well.

If you have any other questions or concerns feel free to open a new ticket and we will gladly help out.
