We're Moving to a New Support Platform – Starting June 1st!
We’re excited to let you know that starting June 1st, we’ll be transitioning to a new support system that will be available directly on our product websites – Amelia, wpDataTables, and Report Builder. In fact, the new support platform is already live for Amelia and wpDataTables, and we encourage you to reach out to us there.
You'll always be able to reach us through a widget in the bottom right corner of each website, where you can ask questions, report issues, or simply get assistance.
While we still do not offer live support, a new advanced, AI-powered assistant, trained on our documentation, use cases, and real conversations with our team, is there to help with basic to intermediate questions in no time.
We're doing our best to make this transition smooth and hassle-free. After June 1st, this current support website will redirect you to the new "Contact Us" pages on our product sites.
Thanks for your continued support and trust – we’re excited to bring you an even better support experience!
Hi
I've several services with different extras (maximum 4 extras per service). How do i have to set up these extras in the email placeholders correctly so they are shown in the customers email.
My email placeholders show a list of dozens of service extra names (see below) which would mean, that every single extra of the service has its own service extra name. If this would be correct, how is this handled in the email notification setup.
%service_extra_100_name%
%service_extra_100_price%
%service_extra_100_quantity%
%service_extra_101_name%
%service_extra_101_price%
%service_extra_101_quantity%
%service_extra_10_name%
%service_extra_10_price%
%service_extra_10_quantity%
%service_extra_11_name%
%service_extra_11_price%
%service_extra_11_quantity%
%service_extra_12_name%
%service_extra_12_price%
%service_extra_12_quantity%
%service_extra_13_name%
%service_extra_13_price%
...and so on....
Please help me to set up the email placeholders for the extras right.
Hello Kurt
Unfortunately, notifications can't be configured per service, so you need to have one template for all services.
This means that you need to include all Extras in the template, and only the ones linked to the Service will appear. That can lead to spaces in email templates, so you might want to consider adding extras linked to a certain service in line.
Unfortunately, there's no workaround for this issue at the moment.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hello again Kurt
There was a bug with the custom code placeholders in v3.0.1, but that was fixed with v3.0.2.
Can you please update the plugin, delete cache from your website and test again?
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hello Aleksandar
Version 3.02 is already installed. No Caching Plugin installed. Shall I upload the latest version again via Pligin Installer oder certain files via FTP?
Regards
Kurt
Sorry about that, Kurt
The issue with custom fields placeholders has been fixed, but the issue with Extras has not.
Our development team is working on those right now, and I hope they'll have a fix ready for our next update.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković

Hi Aleksandar
This is bad news as customer wants to go live these days. Any timeframe for next update?
Kind regards
Thanks for the update, Kurt
I will forward the ticket to our development team, so they can take a look.
I'm glad to hear you like the plugin. We're making it better all the time, but hiccups like this can happen. The next update should go out in the next two weeks, but I can't say exactly when.
Could be the first week of February, could be the second one. Depends on the issues we encounter along the way.
Kind Regards,
Aleksandar Vuković
