I would like to be able to change the look and feel of the Master-Detail pop-ups. Change background colour, add shadow to the frame and perhaps have rounded corners of the popup. Have I missed some information regarding this? If so, where can I find it?

Unfortunately, at the moment, we don't have any styling options for the modal. You would need to use some custom CSS for it.
For example, to increase the border radius (rounded corners):
.wpdt-c .modal .modal-content { border-radius: 15px !important; }To change the background color:
.wpdt-c .modal-content { background-color: wheat !important; }And that would make it look like this:
