I have activated the product yet I can't update the plugin. It just keeps telling me that I need to activate it. Quite disappointed since I bought the developer lifetime licence.. How come that such a basic feature is not working?

Thank you for your purchase.
Issues like this tend to happen if you leave an accidental space in the purchase code, so it's saved with that space in the database.
Can you check wp_options table? Just look for "wdtPurchaseCodeStore" option_name, and check the "option_value" column - see if the purchase code is saved with a space?
If you don't know how to do that, or that doesn't resolve the issue, could you provide us with a temporary wp-admin user (administrator) and FTP access credentials, so we can debug the plugin, and see what the issue is?
Please note that the ticket is public, so make sure to enable the PRIVATE response if you're leaving us credentials.
