Setting questions about amnelia

    Hi,

I have a question, about the setting of Amnelia.

So the online appointment calender is for my mom, for his hairdresser salon.

In general when she makes an appointement for a person, she knows that the most of the time she need 2h to finish her style but sometime she know the costumer and knows that in 1h she will be finished.

     - Is there a possibility for the users with the role Amnelia manager to change the time manually just for that appointement?

Another think is, that sometime she wants to overlap two apointements for two different costumers, but same employee, is there a setting to allow this in amelia.

Because imagine in a hairdressersalon, when the costumer is dyeing her hairs, the employee can do something other for another costumer, when the employee has the color on his hair.

In general when someone books an appointement, the appointement is in pending and if the employee wish to change the appointmeent the costumer will be called to ask to come earlier or later, just to have an optimized calendrier, so that overlapping can be possible.

    Hope you can help me.

    Thanks a lot,

    Michel

    Hello Michel

    Thank you for your purchase.

You can set the default service duration to be 1h, but add an hour-long extra, so when a service is booked, it can be prolonged for another hour.

As for overlapping - unfortunately that can't be achieved with Amelia. In that case, you'd need to manually choose which appointment will have the extra applied, and which one will not, assuming you know who's going to leave the time slot open. Meaning, if a customer is going to stay for 2 hours, and you'll be able to offer another appointment an hour after that one starts, you would need to save the appointment like it lasts 1 hour (without the extra).

    Kind Regards,
