I'm doing with WP data tables plugin, and made several tables for my website, but at the present I need to merge some cells and also different color for another cells, but I don't find any commands or guidance. Meanwhile I use free installed wp data tables- tables and charts in my site.
Unfortunately, as indicated in our documentation, from version 3.1 Merged cells are supported in Simple tables by wpDataTables, but they can't be used in any other table type.
Also, when you check out the documentation for simple tables, scroll all the way to the bottom to see its limitations. They can't be used for charts, in combination with other tables, etc.
Coloring cells differently can also be done only through Simple tables, and doing it for other table types can only be achieved with Conditional Formatting, or with custom CSS, which is not included in the provided support for the plugin.
