Does the plugin allow users to book rooms/events for a customisable length of time, acn they select 30 mins or one hour and then it indicates what times are available to other users?

    Hi Nathaniel Chang,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin.

Our plugin is originally made for booking appointments and events, but it can also be used for room booking if you plan to offer rooms for a couple of hours in the same day (like meeting rooms, escape rooms etc.). To achieve that you will need to create rooms in the place where our employees are (to create each room as an employee).

As for the customisable length of time, at the moment we don't have option for customer to choose length, in our plugin you define length of the service or event, but you can add extras for services that would have extra time and have additional price if you need and let customer choose service or service + extra during the booking. If you have just one service, then you can create multiple services where each service would have different duration and name them like that so the customer can know during the booking.

    Best regards.

    Hi Isidora

    Thank you for the reply.

So to expand on your solution, is a user able to select multiple time periods in one booking?

For example: In a day there are 5 slots available, and a user wants to book 3, can they do that in one transaction?

My other question is regarding the structure and use between multiple sites:

We have a parent organisation, then child organisation A and B. We want to show calendars and booking venues independently on child organisation A and B, these do not interact with each other. We then need to show all events/bookings on the parent organisation as an overview.

We anticipate all organisations to have different urls, but built using multisite, is this possible with Amelia, or do we need to build something different, or reference separate calendars on the parent organisation?

    Thanks

    Hi Nathaniel Chang,

    You are welcome.

Unfortunately at the moment user is not able to select multiple time periods in one booking, the only option would be to create services with different duration or one service with minimum duration but with extras. So if customer selects service with duration of 1 hour he will see time slots of 1 hour and if select service that lasts 3 hours (or service+extra lasts 3 hours) then the available time slots of 3 hours duration will be shown.

It is possible to use Amelia multisite but on each site you would have separate settings and booking forms and there wouldn't be option to show everything together on the parent site, you would only be able to show one booking on a child organization A and other on the child organization B.

    Best regards.
